The twins are 19 months old now and are becoming increasingly difficult to live with! They are totally resistant to all forms of discipline and pretty much just mock us when we even attempt it! Phoebe even spanks her own rear end now. Most days, they have me pulling my hair out wanting to hide. Good thing they are cute!
It takes them about 2 seconds to create a disaster zone. Last week, I found them on the landing with a tub of wipes for cleaning electronics. Of course, they had to empty out the tub of wipes, sucking on each one as they went. Phoebe had some sort of dirty laundry on her head as they busily went about their business.
The past few days, the twins have stayed pretty busy shoving things into the toilet, filling their bath with toilet paper, coloring on the walls and eating my makeup, but the naughty highlight for today involved the sugar bowl. Sarah had been getting into it, eating spoonfuls of sugar and the babies followed her lead. Eventually after lots of useless scolding and moving it out of reach (I thought), the sugar bowl appeared in the living room and was quickly emptied out onto the carpet. It didn't end there! Sarah and Phoebe proceed to lick the sugar off the carpet, resulting in 2 toddlers covered in sugar head to toe and wet sugar all over the living room floor.
I give up.

That is so good of you to stop and get pictures to document it. I would have been way too upset to stop and get pictures! You're such a good mom!
Yeah, it's hard to stay mad when they look at you with those big blue eyes, huh? Phoebe has a flair for head fashion. :)

Just do like we did with you and Betsy when you were that age...to the backyard and hose you down.
