This weekend I went on a little sewing spree, using up some fabrics I had lying around. I thought it would be cute to make the girls some comfy drawstring type pants. Since it gets so cold here in the fall/winter/spring, I figured it made more sense to do pants than dresses. For some reason, I always think of them as being hard to make, but they are actually super easy! I should have made myself some too! lol Anyway, here's some pics of the pants. I figured the twins wouldn't be very cooperative, so wasn't expecting much from the pics, but they turned out pretty cute I think.

Love the pants - especially Sarah's! She's quite the little model, isn't she? And the twins are adorable, even if they didn't want to cooperate!

Those pants are really cute! I have just started to sew, and have two boys so drawstring pants are the option (not cute dresses for me :()

What pattern did you use...or did you use one?

Sally, I used a couple of capri pant patterns, but changed them so much that all I was really using them for was the shape of the pieces. I elongated them and added the drawstring. Pants are really simple - you should definitely try!

You are TOO CUTE! I had no idea you sewed those pants! WOW! What a fun mom you are! And the photographs you take are GORGEOUS! What type of camera do you use?

Well, I normally use a Nikon D80, but I also use a D50. Both good!
