Sunday, our church held a "spring tea" for ladies only. I thought it would be fun to take Sarah and have a little girly time with her. We wound up hosting a table, which meant we were responsible for decorating it and serving the tea. For decoration, we use our glass head, which we've named Rosie, and some of the hats from my vintage hat collection. We had more planned, but our little table was so small, Rosie had to stand alone.
For entertainment, some of the youth serenaded us in various ways. There were vocal, cello, and piano solos. Sarah's preschool teacher, Miss Mary, did a devotional about how Jesus is like a tea bag. lol
We had little sandwiches and tons of tasty desserts. The men of the church helped out in the kitchen and prepared several different varieties of tea for us at each course. The hostesses provided the teapots and it was fun to see the different styles.
One of the highlights for Sarah was getting to pull the winning tickets for the door prizes...
It was a fun day, even though our *spring* suddenly vanished that day! This is what it looked like outside!!! We got 4" of snow dumped on us overnight! Photo courtesy of Scott...

I'm curious to know...how is Jesus like a tea bag? Sounds like it could be a cute object lesson. And Sarah looks SO CUTE!
Haha, Lisa, I'll have to find the story and send it to you. It was cute! I can't remember it though.
