Building a bear...

Today, since we had nothing better to do, and because we've done nothing but loaf and clean all week, we decided to venture out for some shopping. We stopped at Lowe's and then headed to the mall to use the Build-a-Bear gift cards the girls got from Nonna for Christmas. The crowds weren't horrible, but that particular store was certainly busier than usual.

They each got to pick out what animal they wanted and clothes for them. Sarah got a pink bear with hearts, Ellen a monkey, and Phoebe a panda. Pink dresses all around and pink shoes too! Sarah got to help stuff the animals by stepping on the pedal that controls the fluff and they put a special heart inside of each of them. After fluffing, they gave their animals an air bath to clean them up and then a good brushing was the last step. The twins were a little distraught over the stuffing process, but it was fun. Thanks Nonna and Boppa!

Here they are showing them off! Phoebe was making monkey noises...

which she thought was pretty funny...
