It's week 3 of my year long self portrait project with the kids. I still haven't gotten into the artsy shots, but that's ok b/c there's all sorts of moments to document during the holidays. Every year that we've lived here, which is every year of Sarah's life, we've had a Christmastime picnic in the basement. We roast weenies and marshmallows in the fireplace and spread a blanket out on the floor. It's so fun for the kiddos and is such an easy thing to do to make a memory. We didn't do a full picnic last night, but we did roast some marshmallows. I thought it would be a great moment to capture for this week's shot!
